Gluten Free and Intolerances
When we first opened the shop in 1985 vegetarianism and food intolerances were hardly tolerated. Roll forward 30 years and we live in a very different world. Today, education and awareness and a plethora of inspirational recipes have given many more options to coeliacs and those with other food allergies and intolerances.
The healthy range at Finns incorporates fresh and raw, crunchy and pressed and where possible we use very little gluten and dairy in our cooking. Uniquely the chefs serve in the shop and are always on hand to discuss special requirements. Most stores have to adapt existing recipes to substitute gluten and dairy in their food; the majority of our food is largely unadulterated and the dishes for the main part, are naturally gluten and dairy free.
